How Does The 5D HIFU Machine Work？

5D HIFU machine is based on high-intensity focused ultrasound technology and is the only platform for all HIFU applicators. HIFU creates thermal coagulation zones at 3 different depths. (1.5mm, 3.0mm and 4.5mm ). Wound healing response results in the formation of new collagen.5D HIFU has no downtime. It is a non-invasive procedure.

HIFU for the body is an advanced technology that delivers focused energy at a depth of 6.0mm, 8.0mm 10.0mm, 13.0mm and 16.0mm. The controlled thermal effect leads to the break of the targeted fat cells. Meanwhile, the procedure results in the contraction of collagen in the treatment area. Thus providing longer-term tightening of the skin.

5D HIFU is a non-surgical body slimming and sculpting treatment, not a weight loss solution. It targets and destroys fat cells without damaging surrounding tissues so you can reduce fat to achieve a slimmer and tighter figure.

It depends on the degree of skin laxity and the biological response to ultrasound energy. Generally, you will need 2-3 sessions per year to get the best result.

With the newer generation of HIFU machines, a procedure for the face and neck only takes 15 minutes, while body treatment requires half an hour.

Due to the fast delivery of sound waves, the discomfort is kept to a minimum. It is much more comfortable compared to Ulthera or the older generation of HIFU.

HIFU bypasses the outer layer of skin and targets the deeper layers. Since the skin’s surface is not affected, there is minimal to no downtime. However, mild redness after the treatment is expected, which will wean off within a few hours.

Skin firming effect may be observed a few days after the treatment, but more significant results occur after 1 month as the body takes time to regenerate

  1. Stop smoking and drinking.
  2. Keep skin well hydrated and drink lots of water, at least 2-3 liters per day.
  3. Refrain from exercise for the first 24h-48h.
  4. Avoid saunas, hot yoga, hot water, smoking and alcoholic beverages for two weeks after your treatment.
  5. Avoid overexposure to the sun for the first month, and use sunblock daily to maximize your results.  
  6. Avoid high-tech treatments such as dermapen, pigment removal, laser, radio frequency, or micro-needling for 8 weeks. 

5D HIFU is a non-invasive and safe treatment. The patients rarely experience discomfort. There might be temporary numbness or bruising, but these side effects usually go away after a few days. Some slight redness or swelling may occur, but it should subside quickly. You can use a soothing serum if you wish!

Contraindications 

  1. Women who is pregnant or breastfeeding.
  2. Suffer from bleeding disorders
  3. Are undergoing anti-thrombosis therapy
  4. Have metal implants or permanent fillers in the treatment area
  5. Are Pregnant or breastfeeding
  6. Have an active systemic or skin disease which may hinder regeneration
  7.  Have Autoimmune disease
