How does Bipolar RF machine works?

Bipoar RF, machine is one type of RF machine. The bipolar RF delivers electrical current between the two electrodes applied to the skin. The bipolar type penetrates a smaller volume of tissues, and this allows it to work with even less energy compared to the monopolar type. The depth of heating depends on the size and geometry of the treatment tip. For the bipolar type, the depth is half of the distance between the two electrodes. This gives the monopolar type being able to penetrate deeper, but the bipolar type is still superior in terms of the pain it causes.

Bipolar radiofrequency (RF) utilizes symmetric and closely placed electrodes to pass RF current. through a defined volume of tissue. The approach has benefits over monopolar and unipolar RF in. its control. To optimize these, the electrodes and the RF parameters must be designed and operated.

Monopolar means going through all skin layers, while bipolar/multipolar means staying largely on the surface. In nature, electrical current (or any other energy potential differential) will choose the easiest/shortest possible distance to travel.

After your treatment, you should avoid putting foreign products onto your skin. This includes AHA, retinol, vitamin C, and makeup for one week. Furthermore, you should avoid any chemical peels, facial waxing, facials, or other facial treatments for two weeks.
