UltraPulse CO2 laser machine is the new technology for skin resurfacing. It delivers 8 times more power than most of the CO2 lasers on the market. It can reach a maximum deep of 4.0mm, which is 4 times of the general CO2 laser machines. It is a non-surgical technology which give the minimum side effects. Fractional Laser creates microscopic channels that break down the rigid fibers in the scar and trigger the production of new collagen and elastic fibers while leaving some unaffected skin in between the channels to reduce healing time.
The result in deep dermal regeneration dramatically improves the elasticity and appearance of scars. It comes with various treatment modes, including ultra pulse mode, fixed mode and vaginal mode, for different skin conditions, ranging from wrinkles, acne scars, rhinophyma to surgical scars. It was proven to improve the tissue structures, pliability and texture of the scar. Depending on the characteristics of the scar, it may take 3-5 treatment sessions to achieve major cosmetic and functional improvements. Hypertrophic Scars:
Thickened raised scars develop within the boundary of the original wound due to excessive synthesis of fibrotic tissue after injury, such as laceration, abrasion, surgery. Scars may continue to thicken for up to 6 months post injury and usually regress over one or two years. Scars often contain high concentrations of nerves and blood vessels and result in pain and itchiness. Ø
Keloid:
Keloid is a result of an overgrowth of granulation tissue extends beyond the boundary of the original wound, and sometimes accompanied by severe itchiness, pain and affect mobility.
Contracture Scars:
Contracture scars result from a major burn, besides extensive tissue damage, they also have uneven induration and depth. Contracture develops when normal elastic connective tissue is replaced with non-elastic fibrous tissue during the remodeling phase of wound healing. Permanent tightening of skin may affect the underlying muscles and tendons which limits mobility and possible leads to damage or degeneration of nerves. Ø

Acne scars is a consequence of prolonged inflammatory acne outbreak that causes damage in and around the pilosebaceous follicle. Atrophic acne scars are much more common than hypertrophic acne scars. Major type of atrophic acne scars are rolling, boxcar and ice-pick.
